Bolney Lychgate Red (2018), by the Bolney Estate of West Sussex A medium-bodied dry red wine with earthy aromas, hedgerow fruits and black cherry. The palate shows ripe blackberry and black pepper flavours held together with soft tannic structure.
Sussex Charmer, by Bookham & Harrison Farms of West Sussex Bookham Harrison Farms were the only producers of Parmesan style cheese in England for a long time. So, they know what they are doing with the Sussex Charmer. This widely acclaimed cheese was created by combining mature local cheddar with their beloved hard Parmesan. It is a full and creamy cheese with gorgeous crystals.
Sussex Brie, by Alsop & Walker of East Sussex A wonderful Sussex take on the famous classic. A sweet, supple and full flavoured cheese made by the fabulous team at Alsop & Walker.
Burwash Rose, by the Traditional Cheese Dairy of East Sussex
A semi soft cheese by the Traditional Cheese Dairy. Washed in rose water in the first few weeks of its maturation process. A lovely creamy flavour with floral notes, with a bouncy texture. Great for a Sussex cheeseboard!
Spicy Pineapple Chutney, by Bartie’s Sussex Faire of West Sussex A 2015 Great Taste Winner, this chutney is a Sussex Faire best seller. Juicy pineapple chunks are cooked in a mixture of crushed arrowroot, sugar, onion, and garlic to create a mouth-watering blend. This chutney is best paired with any of our Sussex cheeses.
Christmas Chutney, by Bartie’s Sussex Faire of West Sussex Spice up your Christmas buffet with this delicious concoction of dates, dried apricots and prunes. It is simmered in crushed ginger, cider vinegar, sea salt, and demerara sugar to give it a rich, treacle-like consistency. This chutney compliments most cold meats and cheese and is the perfect item to jazz over your leftover turkey!
Sussex Bee Farm Honey, by the Sussex Bee Farm of West Sussex As with all Sussex Bee Farm products, this honey comes from a single apiary and is raw and unprocessed. Made from hives around Sussex, this delicious honey is perfectly matched with any Sussex cheese, but goes especially well with blue varieties.
Truffle Honey, by Sussex Fine Food Co. of West Sussex If you haven't tried truffle honey with cheese before, then you are in for a wonderful surprise. We make it using English truffles and Sussex honey. It is sublime with any Susssex cheeses and we are told by a good authority that it is particularly excellent drizzled on pizza!
CharcuterieSelectionPack, by Rebel of East Sussex Brighton-based Curing Rebels makes some of Sussex’s best cured meats. These meats come in environmentally-conscious packaging and are sourced ethically from local farms. Twelfth Night Biscuits, by Horsham Gingerbread Bakehouse of West Sussex If cosy fires and snowy Christmas nights had a taste, it would taste like these biscuits from Horsham Gingerbread Bakehouse. These gluten-free treats are made using locally sourced oats and corn flour. The sprinkling of sea salt perfectly balances the richness of the butter and the muscovado sugar.
Only Coco Mince Pie Chocolate Bar, by Only Coco of East Sussex Crunchy, moorish pieces of Mince Pie crumble through the rich and silky Venezuelan Milk Chocolate. This Christmas special from Only Coco pairs excellently with a warm open fire and large glass of red!
Amaretti Biscuits, by Sussex Fine Food Co. of West Sussex These light and very almondy amaretti biscuits are crisp on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. An absolute Christmas classic that we are extremely proud of. We dare you to open these and not finish them off in one go!
Luxury Christmas Pudding, by Sussex Fine Food Co. of West Sussex Our very own luxury Christmas pudding is the perfect centerpiece for the Christmas table. We have lovingly blended orange, apple and dates with brandy, rum and muscovado sugar to create our wonderful take on the Christmas classic.
Miller's Damsel Buttermilk These crunchy, ultra-thin crackers are made using authentic English stone-ground flour. The English butter and buttermilk in the ingredients give it a milky, slightly sour flavour. Its crispy layers strike a perfect balance between tangy and savoury. This creamy cracker pairs well with most Sussex cheeses.
Miller's Damsel Charcoal Miller’s Damsel Charcoal crackers are made using all-natural ingredients like corn oil, unmalted barley and unbleached stone-ground wheat flour, these crispy delights pair well with pates and hard Sussex cheese. A sprinkle of charcoal powder is responsible for giving the cracker that signature shade.
